1. It is only as you yield and submit your life to God, obey His word, and deny yourself that you can experience intimacy and build a Godly marriage
  2. Oneness in marriage involves complete unity with each other
  3. In order to achieve oneness, a couple must share a strong commitment to God’s purpose for marriage
  4. When we yield to God and build together from His blueprints, we BEGIN the process of experiencing oneness
  5. The basis for my acceptance of my mate is faith in God’s character and trustworthiness
  6. A Godly marriage is not created by finding a perfect, flawless person, but IS created by allowing God’s perfect love and acceptance to flow through one imperfect person-you-toward another imperfect person-your mate
  7. A Godly marriage is established and experienced as we leave, cleave and become one flesh
  8. Only Spiritual Christians can have a hope of building Godly homes
  9. The Home built by God requires both the husband and wife to yield to the Holy Spirit in every areas of their lives
  10. The heritage you were handed is not as important as the legacy you will leave
  11. The legacy you leave is determined by the life you live
  12. Your marriage should leave a legacy of love that will influence future generations
